Compiled Test Results - Connectors:

ATX12V v2.x calls for split 12V rails, with certain connectors on each rail. The proper connector assignment is as follows:

  • 12V1 - 24pin Main Power, SATA Power, 4pin Peripheral & Floppy Power
  • 12V2 - ATX +12V Power

The 6pin "PCI Express" connector is not part of the official ATX12V 2.x specs at this point in time. While we would like to see manufacturers follow the ATX12V guidelines, sometimes they go their own route to balance loads on the 12V rails. Obviously only power supplies with split 12V rails will be listed, v1.3 PSUs only have one 12V rail.
