As we all know, overclocking can enhance the system performance, and it's fun to do when you know how. The downsides obviously are voiding warranties, murdering processors, and anything else that can go wrong. Nonetheless, there are enthusiasts everyday who overclock their systems to get every last frame out of a game like Unreal Tournament 2003 or just overall better performance in all applications. Being the site that we are, we thought it would be a good idea to show what some of the latest CPUs are able to do in terms of overclocking.

It has been awhile since we have gotten a chance to kick back and do some hardcore overclocking. Feeling that we have not been extreme enough in a long time, we are going to go back to our roots. Today, we will take a look at a retail Pentium 2.4C  processor that was purchased from Newegg. This article analyzes the processor in terms of overclocking, ExtremeOC style. We are not going to be using an air coolers, water cooling, or even a TEC. Strap on your seat belts as we show you what a 2.4C can do with a Prometeia and some dry ice!

Also, if you do try anything that is written in this article, it is at your own risk, and for sure will void the warranty on you CPU and possibly other parts. That is, if you still have a warranty.
