A First Look at the Power Supply:

The Antec True Blue 2.0 comes in a very nice retail style box. The exact model & wattage are clearly visible on the front, and a nice picture of the power supply illustrates the blue LEDs. All the various features and specifications are listed on the back and sides of the package.

This power supply includes a lot of cables, all of which have gold plated connectors. Cable length is approximately 22" from the PSU to the first connector. (Cables with multiple connectors are obviously longer.) Only the primary 24pin connector has sleeving, the rest are bundled nicely using zip-ties. Instead of having to use a 24pin-20pin adapter, the connector is one of those split 20+4pin models, where you can unhook the extra 4 pins from the main connector to fit on older style 20pin motherboards. A 3pin RPM wire is tied to the main 120mm PSU fan, so that it can be connected to the motherboard and monitored via your favorite software.

  • One (1) 24pin Main Power
  • One (1) 4pin ATX +12V
  • Two (2) 6pin PCI Express
  • Four (4) SATA
  • Five (5) 4pin Peripheral
  • Two (2) 4pin Floppy
  • Two (2) 4pin "Fan-Only"

Important Note: The TruePower 2.0 Fan Only connectors are designed to power standard fans only. Attaching thermally-controlled fans to these connectors will likely result in unpredictable and undesired behavior. Thermally-controlled fans should only be connected to the standard 4-pin Peripheral Power Connectors. Please do not connect more than three fans to the Fan Only connectors.
