Antec TX1050B Black SOHO Tower Case

The exterior of the TX1050B has been redesigned with a fresh new look, yet the grill still brings back memories of the original Performance Series cases. Opening the front door reveals a double hinged design that allows the panel to swing up to 270º. Behind the door are four (4) 5.25" bays and two (2) 3.5" bays, along with the power & reset buttons. Since this is a SOHO case, two extra LEDs (four total) are provided. Below the drive bays a small flip panel reveals the front USB, Firewire, and audio ports.

The rear of the chassis has been modified from the previous dual 80mm design to a single 120mm. A 120mm Tricool (3-speed) fan is included.

Underneath the TX1050B includes four swing-out feet for extra stability. A washable air filter is located in the front bezel that can easily be removed by sliding it out the bottom. Since cases this large usually sit on the floor, the front filter is a wonderful feature for reducing the amount of dust and debris entering the case.

The side panel now has two separate latches, with the top having a lock. When the latches are released to door is swings open same as previous models. Two air vents are provided, with one having an adjustable-height duct. The top vent/duct fits a 92mm fan designed to work with helping to cool the CPU, while the bottom vent fits an 80mm fan designed to help cool a video card.
