Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 Tower Case

The Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 is my first Cooler Master case, but certainly won’t be my last. This case has truly amazed me as far as quality and features. The case appeals to the enthusiast who wants to have silence without sacrificing cooling performance or capacity. This case also looks great, and is very easy to work inside. The case leaves plenty of room for water coolers as well as air coolers. The six (6) HDD bays are a great start for a RAID array.

The only issues I had with the case were the lack of active cooling and the possibility of dust on the top panel ports. The weight of this case, due to its size makes its quite a hefty product, weighing in at nearly 40 pounds (empty), lifting can be a task but it does slide well on its feet

Other than the few minor issues mentioned above, this case is flawless. The fans provide great airflow and run quietly. The quality of construction of the case is great, there are no rough or sharp edges that you see in other cases. Some may look at the price (~$199 USD) as a flaw, but when you combine all of the features that you don’t see in the cheaper cases you get a unique and well thought out product that is perfect for the computer enthusiast.
