Enermax Liberty 620W Modular Power Supply

Packing, Accessories, Cable Configuration:

The Enermax Liberty comes in a stylish box that includes all sorts of information printed on the front and back. Both the front and side prominently display the PSU's rated output of 620W. The side label contains all the rail specifications and regulation / safety certifications. Other relevant information on the side includes Active PFC, ATX12V v2.2 compliance, and a 3 year warranty. The UL file number is E134014 and if you look it up online one can see that it belongs to "Enermax Technology Corp".

Included with the power supply is a user manual in several languages, a case badge, screws, power cord, and bag containing all the modular cables. All the cables have sleeving over most of the cable length, and they all use the same style connector into the PSU. However, the two PCIe cables utilize different color plugs because the pin-out is different on them vs all the other cables.

The main ATX connector is a 20+4pin detachable design to allow for backwards capability with older motherboards. The 12V connector is a 4+4pin design to allow for standard 4pin ATX12V or 8pin EPS12V which is becoming more common on high-end motherboards. The peripheral connector cables mix SATA & 4pin connectors on the same strand, which is a first that I have seen on a power supply The bad part is you probably won't be able to utilize every connector on a cable strand (nor is it recommended), however there are plenty of excess connectors on each cable so you won't ever run short.

All cables are approximately 22" from the PSU to the first connector, with additional connectors spaced out about 2". The total cable count is as follows:

  • One (1) 24-pin ATX Main Power (20+4 style)
  • One (1) 8-pin EPS12V (4+4 style to allow for ATX12V)
  • Two (2) 6-pin PCI Express
  • Ten (10) SATA
  • Ten (10) 4-pin Peripheral
  • Two (2) Floppy
  • One (1) Fan RPM
