Enermax Liberty 620W Modular Power Supply

Performance Summary & Final Conclusions:

Enermax has balanced performance, aesthetics, and acoustics with their Liberty 620W power supply. The modular cable system is clean and easy to use, not to mention Enermax includes a very nice pouch to store unused cables. The noise level is very minimal due to the single 120mm fan and high PSU efficiency. Active PFC is always a nice feature, helping to reduce excess current going through the walls. Enermax has truly provided a top quality product to the enthusiast and in my opinion is the best modular power supply currently available on the market. I'm usually not a big fan of modular power supplies, however the Enermax Liberty is the one exception.

Enermax includes a 3 year warranty with this power supply, just incase there are any problems. At ~$160 on up, this power supply is definitely not cheap, but when you consider all the features it has it is money well invested.

The only feature missing that I would like to see is the ability for user-adjustable voltages. On some other enthusiast power supplies they have small pots that allow each rail's voltage to be fine-tuned. This is kind of an icing on the cake deal, but nonetheless something I hope they consider in the future. Even under heavy load the Enermax PSU stayed almost exactly at nominal voltages, and under maximum load it was about 1-2%, so undervolting is not really an issue with this PSU.

I'm so pleased with the Enermax Liberty 620W that I just have to give it the Editor's Choice award for a "Modular Power Supply".
