Meridian XClio 450W & 400W Power Supplies

Introduction:

Meridian Technology is primarily a case manufacturing company that was started back in 1985. Their most recent creation is the line of XClio power supplies with SCFT (Super Cooling Function Technology). The XClio line ranges from 300W to 550W models, meet ATX12V v2.0 specs, and use a low-noise 120mm fan for cooling.

I've honestly never heard of this company or power supply before, so it will be interesting to see how well it can hold up against some of the bigger-name competition. In this review we will be taking at look at two of the XClio models, the 450W and 400W.

A power supply is the heart of a PC, and we will be putting this unit through extreme temperatures and loads to ensure it operates as specified, and has proper safety mechanisms in place.
