Meridian XClio GreatPower 700W Power Supply

The 14cm fan does look noticeably larger than a 12cm fan in a power supply and allows for better cooling and quieter operation. The ventilation on the back of the PSU is honeycomb shaped (supposedly provides better airflow than round or square holes). A master power switch and power connector are also on the back. The PSU itself is a matte (flat) black, the fan & fan grill match the black theme. After the PC is turned off, the PSU fan will continue to run for a couple minutes to help exhaust hot air, a nice feature found in only a handful of power supplies.

On the front of the PSU are all the modular connections. The two red connectors on the PSU are for the extra PCIe cables (which have matching red connectors). The other four 6-pin connections are for the SATA and peripheral cables. Lastly the 8-pin EPS connector goes to the EPS cable. The specification label provides the same basic info that is in the manual. While it does lack some of the nit-picky details that can be found on other PSUs, it does provide all the necessary bits.

All cables are approximately 20 inches from the PSU to the first connector. Additional connectors are spaced approximately 6 inches apart. The total connector count is as follows:
