Memory: 512 PC2700
Video Card: Sapphire 9800 Pro
Hard Drive: Western Digital SE 80GB
Western Digital 4GB
Other: Cendyne 52x CD-ROM
Cendyne 24x12x48 CD-RW
5 x 80mm Case Fans

The ASUS probe utility was used for testing due to equipment limitations. At this time all tests were performed on the exact same hardware listed above and compared to a Vantec 470 power supply. The results were averaged over 3 tests when ran at idle and during the 3DMark 2003 demo. As we can see the Seasonic power supply has a very stable voltage rail during load and idle even when compared to the larger more powerful power supply.

The Seasonic actually increased voltage to compensate for the increased draw to maintain reliability. During the testing process the temperature controlled variable speed 120mm fan on the Seasonic changed from 1000rpm to 1600rpm after half the test process, but still maintained a nearly silent operation in comparison to the CPU cooler.
