Looking inside the SilverStone SST-TJ06:

This is where the case really starts to differ from the traditional ATX case. Upon opening the left panel, it seems as if the inside parts have been flipped over to opposite side. Take note of the hole in the center of the MB panel, this is where you route the power cables, hard drive cables, and anything else that needs to go to the motherboard.

Opening up the right panel reveals the proper side to mount the motherboard and accessories. The most notable thing in the picture is the hard plastic "Wind Tunnel" that runs along the bottom of the case.

As mentioned before, the motherboard is meant to be mounted upside down, which places the CPU at the bottom of the case. By enclosing the CPU in the "Wind Tunnel" cool air can be drawn from the front of the case, and the hot air generated by the CPU can be expelled out the back. The plastic tunnel keeps the hot air generated from the CPU from flowing into the rest of the case. There is a separate 80mm intake fan in the front of the case to cool the PCI/AGP cards, and a vent in the back of the case just above the PCI/AGP slots.

Here are a couple shots of the front drive bays, and the hard drive cage. The hard drives mount vertically with the power and cables connecting on the back side of the case. Then the hard drive cable is routed through the hole in the motherboard panel. There is also a switch that can be connected to a motherboard that has an intrusion detection header (so you know if the side panel has been taken off). If you look closely you can see there are rubber feet mounted on the top of the hard drive cage, these support the power supply once it is installed.

Here are a few screenshots of a motherboard and other components installed in the case. As you can see the wind tunnel covers the CPU, memory, and even part of the north-bridge perfectly. Also when an AGP video card is mounted, the fan will be facing UP instead of down, opposite of a traditional case.

Thus far this case has been extremely impressive. Unfortunately, we also found the biggest drawback of the case during installation of the components. The ATX power connector and +12V were not long enough to reach to motherboard when routing the power cables through the back side of the case. When we tried to route them directly through the front, the +12V connector stretched right across the AGP slot, and thus a video card could not be mounted. We tried flipping the power supply over with no luck, and even trying a different brand PSU (however it had roughly the same length cables).
