A First Look at the Case:

The most prominent feature of the MAX602 is the brushed stainless steel perforated front design, with the overall look being simple and elegant. The back of the chassis is your standard layout, the PSU mounts up at the top, and there is room for two 80mm exhaust fans. One of the PCI slots is notched to allow for a special audio/mic cable to come out the back and plug into the rear ports on a motherboard or sound card.

Taking a closer look at the front bezel, there are two USB ports, a firewire port, and audio/mic ports. The front can be locked to prevent unauthorized access to the drive bays. Above the lock are the power & hard drive LEDs. Upon opening the front panel, five (5) 5.25" drive bays & two (2) 3.5" drive bays are exposed. Fear not, there is room for five (5) more HDs to be mounted inside the case.

As mentioned above, the front panel ports connect with various cables. The audio cable actually passes through the back of the case to plug into the back of the motherboard or soundcard. Upon removing the front lower bezel two 80mm fan mounts are exposed, as well as two 80mm fan mounts in the back of the case. Four fans (plus PSU fan) should be quite adequate for most cooling situations. And optional top and side panel can be ordered giving two more fan mounts if need be.
