Transformer Case Exterior:

The front of the Transformer case has a very clean and smooth look. The power button is exposed on the front panel, along with the power & hard drive LEDs. Upon opening the front door, five 5.25" and two 3.5" drive bays are exposed. Again the power button and LEDs are visible, along with the reset button which is on the opposite side from the power button. While the front door swings open a little more than the Samurai case, it still does not open a full 180°, which would have been more preferable. The rear of the Transformer case features a single 120mm exhaust fan.

With the front panel removed, one can now access the front 120mm fan bracket. The case does not come with a 120mm fan for the front. Also note that all the front drive bays have shields which will need to be removed before inserting a drive into the bay.

The side of the Transformer case features a full-sized window with two 80mm blue LED fans and custom grills. The side panel has an intricately carved design in the metal, with a single piece of acrylic mounted to it. The top of the case has an 80mm blue LED fan and grill for exhausting hot air. Also on the top of the case are two USB 2.0 ports, and audio jacks. Since most full tower cases are set on the floor, having these ports on top provides easier access.

The side door uses two thumbscrews, along with a door latch to hold it in place. A lock is also built into the side panel to prevent people from tampering with the inside. The Transformer case does have four feet that swing out from under the case and match the color of the chassis perfectly.
