Interior (Cont):

The motherboard mounting hardware is very standard and all the screws and standoffs have been provided. Most of the standoffs are all ready in position for ATX motherboards. This should make mounting easier since the user will not have to take the time to figure out which standoff goes where.

For cooling, the only fans provided with the case are the ones on the power supply and the 80mm on the side panel. There are four other spots to add more fans. On the back of the case you can mount either two 80mm fans or a single 120mm fan. There are also two fan mounts in the lower front of the case. The ones in the lower front have a fan filter in front of them to help keep out dust. The fans in the front use a quick mount type bracket for holding the fans. The drive cage is close to where these fans go but 80x80x38 mm fans can still fit there for those that want to use the huge fans like the Vantec Tornado or Delta Screamers.

Conclusions & Final Thoughts:

This case is designed very well. It meets the requirements that the average user would need but can also be upgraded for the more hardcore enthusiast. The overall case design is sturdy and provides all the accessories like mounting hardware, air filters, etc. Front panel USB, Firewire, and audio jacks, is a nice addition to the case and is very convenient for people who do plug and unplug their digital cameras, digital camcorders, headphones, and other various electronics.

The cooling solution on this case is ok but more fans could have been provided rather than just the one on the side panel. The good thing is that there are 4 other spots for adding more 80mm fans and that all of these spots can hold the larger 80x80x38 fans for some really good cooling. The case also has a clean design and is spacious for good airflow.

Modifications can be performed on the case. I did some measuring and a 120mm blowhole could be added to the top of the case. There is just enough room to fit a fan there without it getting in the way of all the drives. For those water-cooling, I would recommend getting a bigger case but a water-cooling system can fit inside this case. It would be crammed but it could work.

The case looks good and has many nice features. There are no major flaws in the design or anything bad that comes to mind during the review of this case. Super Flower has designed another good looking and functional case.
