Power Supply:

The power supply included with this case wasn't the best suited for my needs. It is a 300watt generic brand power supply that is 2.01 & 2.03 compliant, however, it only has three drive connectors and two small (floppy) connectors. While this should be enough for the average user, this would pose a problem with more than three drives. For instance, the system I use has two hard drives, and two CD-ROMs, already I am out of luck unless I purchase some Y-adapters. CoolerGuys DOES however offer two power supply upgrades for this case! The first is a "whisper" 330w PS, and the second is a monster 431w PS. Because the stock 300w power supply could not power all of my components, I used my own PowerMan 300w power supply in all tests.

The System:

System Specifications

CPU AMD Athlon 1ghz @ 1.1ghz 1.75v
Motherboard ABIT KT7-RAID
Memory 256MB Samsung PC133 @ CAS2
Video Card Hercules GeForce 2 GTS 32mb @ 210/360
Hard Drives Maxtor 20gig 7200rpm
Maxtor 12gig 5400rpm
CD-ROMs Creative Infra CD-ROM
Creative 6x4x24x CD-RW
Sound Card Aureal Vortex 2 PCI
Modem U.S. Robotics Internet Gaming Modem

Yup, it all fits:

Testing:

To test this case I took temps from the video card, CPU, and system. A set of temps were taken with all the fans on, and the another set with all the fans off. The CPU, video card, and power supply fans were left on because these are considered stock equipment. Prime 95 was used for the system tests, and 3DMark 2000 was used for the video card tests. The ambient temp was 79F during the entire testing procedures.
