Testing:

To test this cooler I used my ABIT KT7-Raid & AMD Athlon (T-Bird) 1ghz @ 1.1ghz 1.8v. This setup can REALLY crank out the heat. The tests were taken at idle in windows 98 and at full load running Prime 95 Torture test. 

Note: The bottom of the PAL6035 comes from the manufacturer with a light coating of oil on it to keep the copper from tarnishing, this needs to be cleaned off before use.

As you can see here, the Alpha does okay with the Y.S. Tech. These temps may seem high but it's not that far off from other coolers I have tried on this same setup, and it's well within spec for the chip.

With the Delta this cooler really shines. A drop of 7F with the change of a fan is not too shabby. But you also loose your ability to hear. This thing is LOUD!

Conclusion:

This cooler definitely cools. When coupled with a Delta fan it's a screamer! Installation is a snap with some needle nosed pliers. This cooler is also MUCH easier to install then the Thermaltake Chrome orbs (Which killed my Duron 600 @ 1ghz R.I.P). At $35.95 it's a little pricey but it's also top quality. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a cool cpu at a decent price.

Pro's:

Con's:

•  Seems to get heat soaked with 1.1+ghz overclocked processors.
