Asetek VapoChill XE II (Extreme Edition II) [AC]

Introduction:

In the constant quest for better cooling, Asetek has released their VapoChill Extreme Edition II offering 180 watts of cooling at sub-zero temperatures. The newly revised XE II offers an AC powered compressor utilizing R507 refrigerant (similar to the LightSpeed setup). A new USB ChillControl with Windows based software allows customization of various settings.

By utilizing a universal evaporator head and various clamshells the XE II supports AMD sockets 754/939/940 and Intel sockets 478 and 775. If / when a new socket design comes along, a new clamshell can be purchased separately and mounted on an existing VapoChill unit.

The Extreme Edition II case is based on the same classic style VapoChill design with the cooling components mounted in a separate top section. A pre-modded side window option is available to give the case some extra flare.
