Conclusions & Final Thoughts:

Price – 9
The price of this memory is the same as buying two 256MB sticks of the XMS3200 LL modules. When comparing the price to other dual channel kits from OCZ and GeIL, the TwinX modules are competitively priced. In addition, with the lifetime warranty the consumer has nothing to lose.

Performance – 9
These memory modules performed very well together. The memory scores were right on par with other memory that we have tested. The performance gains were very noticeable in our benchmarks but we would like to not that all the benchmarks are still synthetic.

Stability – 10
This memory was 100% stable when run at 400 MHz with the SPD values and stock voltages. We never once encountered a blue screen or any other error using the specified settings. Everything was just plug and play.

Support – 10
Corsair has always been good about their support. You can go directly to their site to find out more information about all of their products as well as guide and other technical resources. Corsair also has a forum where users can go for more additional help.

Overclocking – 9.5
Overclocking with the TwinX modules was excellent. The memory was capable of running well beyond its rated speed at the SPD values and our custom values. 450 MHz is very fast and nice for any gamer or enthusiast. The voltages we used in our testing is also provided by most motherboards, so most dual channel boards should have the right options to take advantage of this memory.

Overall – 9.5
We were definitely impressed with the TwinX memory kit. Honestly, we did not expect the memory to overclock as well as it did since we were using aggressive timings. In addition, the price is good and the warranty and support is stellar. Corsair is doing a great job of keeping up their tradition of quality and performance. Perhaps they will design a dual channel memory kit featuring PC3500 modules.
