Benchmarks & Overclocking Results:

As shown on the previous page, we used both Chaintech 9CJS Zenith and ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe motherboards to test on. Corsair states that they validate their memory specifically on the ASUS P4C800 series boards, but since everyone doesn't own an ASUS we figured another 875P board would be good to try out too.

Testing on the Chaintech 9CJS Zenith was pretty cut and dry, we were able to achieve the rated PC4400 speed (275FSB), however it required increasing the voltage to 2.85V for complete stability. It was possible to boot up at 280FSB, but MemTest86 failed. Sandra & PCMark04 scores were very close to the ASUS.

Testing on the ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe performed exactly as per the product specifications. 275FSB was achieved with the rated 2.75V, and we were able to squeeze a few more MHz out of the system. Increasing the voltage to 2.85V yielded a stable 280FSB. 2.85V is the maximum stock voltage on the ASUS motherboard, however with a vdimm mod the voltage can be increased quite easily. To achieve 285FSB required a good 3.00V, we were able to boot at 290FSB @ 3.00V, but it would freeze at the POST screen. We didn't attempt any higher voltage, however I'm sure increasing more could yield even more speed.
