XCLIO Aurora+P Lighting Mouse Pad +USB

Testing:

At first glance I thought the mouse pad would be too small for proper use as I went about my daily tasks, but for the most part I had no real issues. The USB housing at the top of the mouse pad did seem to get in the way of my mouse cord and I would need to give a little tug every now and then.

Gaming with this mouse pad was a slightly different story. Most gamers like big mouse pads so they have plenty of room for movement without having to always re-center their mouse. This mouse pad is a decent size, but it would not be my first choice for gaming. If it was about 2-3" more in diameter I think it could be better utilized while gaming.

The USB port is a simple pass-thru design, no drivers required. I tried transferring data via a USB pen drive on both a USB 1.1 port and a USB 2.0 port and it worked flawlessly (transferring at their respective speeds).

Product Summary & Final Conclusions:

Meridian's XCLIO Aurora+P mouse pad is, well... a mouse pad, with LEDs. It is functional, and the LEDs are a nice touch for people that want a "different" look. One thing I really liked about this mouse pad was the bottom was entirely covered with a non-skid pad, most mouse pads I've used only have a few dinky rubber pads on the corners (that usually fall off over time).

For people with small desktops, or use mostly office-type applications then this mouse pad would probably work just fine. Gamers on the other hand would probably want something with a slightly larger surface.
