The package contains the Hi-Speed USB 7-in-1 Card Reader, 4ft USB cable, instruction manual, and driver/manual CD.

First thing I noticed was the front ports are protected by a flip-down cover, this is an extremely nice feature not found on many card readers. The cover helps keep out dust and other contaminates from the delicate card reader slots when not in use. When the cover is flipped down, it actually locks in place and serves to prop the card read up for easier access.

There is a single LED on top to signal when the card reader is connected, and also transferring data.

The card reader has an attached 6" USB cable that neatly folds into the bottom of the case. With the card reader all closed up it is very compact, no bigger than a small deck of cards.

Also included in a matching 4ft USB cable, handy for desktop use to connect to the USB ports in the back of the PC.

As mentioned before, the Crucial card reader is able to fit its cable neatly on the underside of the case. When compared to a Sandisk card reader it is easy to see how much more neat and compact the Crucial is.
