Conclusions:

We were really looking forward to this review since We had just done a review on the Steelpad 4D. As I stated in that review, I have always used foam rubber mouse pads. I still have my Duke Nukem mouse pad from Duke Nukem 3D. I have since retired that mouse pad and switched to the Steelpad 4D because the smoothness of the mouse is much better. The accuracy of the On ice: After dark mouse pad is right on par with the Steelpad 4D. They are both so much better than foam rubber mouse pads, that we are positive that anyone who gives the ICEMAT On ice: After dark a try, will never regret the high price of the product. The extra cost is worth the better performance that you will receive. We would also like to add that it did perform flawlessly with an optical mouse, despite what some of the other reviews have stated. There were no screeching or scuffing sounds that were heard from the mouse while it glided across the mouse pad, even without applying the teflon tape included with the ICEMAT On ice: After dark. We did notice, however, a slightly smother feel to the mouse after applying the teflon tape to the bottom of the mouse feet. Once again, We have to highly recommend the ICEMAT On ice: After dark over any other mouse surface that is on the market today.

We would like to add that if you are working at a business and are looking to update what you currently use at the company, ICEMAT does offer custom logo's on their mouse pads.
