Big, bold and speakers are included?:

What do you get when you cross a 19" LCD monitor with a pair of speakers?  Give up?  The Samsung SyncMaster 192T.  Not only has Samsung once again delivered a thin panel LCD, but this time they decided to add a nice little pair of speakers in the base.  While most likely not the greatest thing for listening to loud music or playing games, it makes a great addition for someone that uses this monitor in an office, or just around the house for casual web browsing.  So not only has Samsung saved you space with this ultra thin LCD, but now you don't have to try and find a place to put those bulky speakers.

The main problem many people have with LCD monitors is that they are not sized in the same fashion as a standard CRT.  A 17" LCD monitor has 17" (diagonal) of viewable space, while a 17" CRT will have generally about 16" (diagonal).  This leads to some confusion when going to purchase an LCD display.

When looking at a 19" LCD screen, it seems just massive.  Compared to a 19" CRT the screen size alone is almost bigger than the casing of the CRT.  It makes it rather nice as you can sit well back of the screen and still read it.  For those getting on in years, a large panel LCD may be just what you are looking for.  No more squinting while trying to read your emails.
