Bundled Software:

ASUS bundles quite a bit of software on a DVD with the P7P55D-E Deluxe. Besides all of the drivers for the motherboard there are quite a few different utilities included as well. PC Probe II will let you look at your temperature and voltages. If you're feeling green ASUS also has included a piece of software that will make your computer work much more efficiently their EPU-6 Engine will let you setup power saving features and see the total amount of C02 emissions you've reduced.

ASUS is always looking for innovative solutions to make overclocking easier. With this board there are three primary ways to overclock: 1.) The classic way by changing settings in the BIOS. 2.) Their TurboV EVO software. This will allow you to change voltages, BCLK, settings and more just like you were in the BIOS. 3.) Their new TurboV EVO remote. This is a wired remote that connects to the motherboard that allows you to set OC profiles and change settings all by pressing a few buttons. There is a even a clear CMOS option on the bottom of the remote.

Overclocking:

Personally I found the best result by doing the majority of the overclocking via the BIOS and fine tuning it with the TurboV EVO software and once I found a good overclock I went back to the BIOS and saved all of the settings. I was able to get my i7-860 to 4.2ghz. There was a cool feature of the TurboV EVO that uses Auto Tuning to basically go and overclock your processor, check for stability, overclock it a bit more and check it again over and over again until it found your highest overclock.
