Conclusions & Final Thoughts:

Price and Features - 10
This board is not the cheapest board on the market. It is definitely expensive when compared to other prices of motherboards based on the NForce 2 chipset. The price however reflects exactly what is included with the motherboard. This is one of the most feature rich boards on the market. It has so many onboard features that the price is not that expensive when taking into consideration what is included. We might even say that purchasing this motherboard is a very good deal because you get tons of extra stuff like the CBOX 2 front panel, the extra firewire, 6-channel audio, Promise RAID also supporting serial ATA, etc.

Performance – 9.5
The Chaintech 7NJS Zenith is nothing short of a good performer. In all of our testing, it scored right in line with many of the other motherboards we have testing and even scoring higher in some tests. Even with all the onboard features, the performance is not hindered at all.

Stability - 10
The mainboard was very stable during our testing. It ran Prime 95 for hours at 210 FSB and never gave one error. The drivers package makes installation easy so that all the components function properly and that no instabilities occur. The board runs great straight out of the box without a hitch.

Support – 9.5
Support for Chaintech product is good. You can go directly to Chaintech’s site and download the latest drivers, BIOS, and manuals for their products. They also have a Tech Support form you can fill out to get more support on the product. Visit this page for more information on Chaintech support.

Overclocking - 9
This mainboard overclocks well. We did have some problems over 210 with the hard drive corruption but doing 210 right out of the box is nothing to be ashamed of considering some boards just do not have the ability to run that high. The BIOS options available provide for superior overclocking and tweaking of the system. It is nice to know that the user has the most of the controls to play with.

Overall- 9.6
Chaintech definitely has a great product with the 7NJS Zenith. The board has tons of features and overclocks very well. Most impressive is the fact that Chaintech was able to fit all of these features into one bundle. The company has a bright future and we look forward to seeing what else they have in store in the near future.
