Overclocking:

Since this is our first time overclocking a true 800 MHz FSB CPU and motherboard, it is hard to say whether our experience was good or bad. We were able to get the motherboard to 226 MHz FSB which put our CPU at 3.425 GHz. At this speed the CPU was getting hot; temperatures were around 48C. We are not sure if the CPU was holding us back or if we just needed higher voltage options than what was available in the BIOS. Regardless of what our bottleneck was, running at 226 Front Side Bus yielded some nice results. Note that the system clock shown by WCPUID is 2.37 MHz higher than what was set in the BIOS.

Here are the scores that we got at 226 FSB with memory timings set to 2-6-2-2 in a dual channel configuration. Memory was running at 453 MHz DDR. The benchmarks speak for themselves.
