Conclusions & Final Thoughts:

The MSI K7N2 is a good motherboard that is competitively priced with other motherboards with the NForce 2 chipset. We recommend this board to the average user to the gamer. It has good features, like the MSI Live Update and the D-Bracket. The mainboard also does have the ability to overclock. It might not be for the extreme overclockers but we are not 100% sure, since we did not get to test the board with unlocked multipliers. The voltage options are a little low to be for the extreme enthusiast as well. Other than that, the board performs well and was totally stable through our testing. We never had one incompatibility issue or blue screen of death.

MSI also backs the board with a 2-year warranty to direct customers and distributors. It is advisable since some resellers and distributors might have different policies that you check with them first. There is also a forum on MSI’s website if the user needs any additional help troubleshooting etc.

Special thanks to MSI for sending us this motherboard to review.
