Overclocking:

This section is going to be very short because we encountered a few issues or actually one major issue. Remember earlier when we said that the FSB adjustment would only go as high as 233? Well, we set the FSB to 233 because we know our retail 2.4C is good over 270FSB. The system booted fine at 233 but when CPU-Z and WCPUID were run, it showed the system being at the stock FSB of 200 MHz. Thinking that the software might have somehow been wrong, we ran benchmarks. The system scored how it should, if it were stock. So going back into the BIOS we tried many other FSB's. All of which never worked so it was totally impossible to overclock this motherboard. We even tried our 3.2 and 3.0 processors and still had no luck.

Since we can not find any new BIOS updates, which we believe is the issue, we can not say any more about the motherboard's overclocking abilities until a new BIOS is released. Shuttle has been notified about the issue with our board. Hopefully we can get the FSB adjustments working and update the review. One more thing is that we were not able to find any other reviews of this board, so we couldn't find out if anyone had the same issues we did.
