wPrime:

wPrime is a perfectly threaded benchmark that gives very consistent scores and uses 100% of the CPU. A nice feature of this program is you can manually set the core usage, so even on a quad core system we have some two thread results.

PiFast:

PiFast is "the fastest windows program to compute Pi"... and who could argue with that? We ran a simple test computing Pi to 10M places. Because of the nature of computing Pi, it can't be multithreaded.

HyperPi:

HyperPi is a front-end to the more famous SuperPi-mod program. Because SuperPi is only a single-threaded app, HyperPi can manage multiple instances for stress testing purposes. Another nice feature of HyperPi is that it can disable a few Vista features that cause SuperPi to crash / behave erratically. I must mention that SuperPi is an extremely old program and does not have any of the optimizations that more modern programs have. However, if I didn't include this benchmark I know I would get some nasty emails.
