First Impression

Good God on fire!!! If you want to hear some excellent sound quality with incredibly powerful bass, you need to pick up these speakers. I have been using these things for a few weeks now, and the quality still shocks me. No matter what volume I have this system run at, it returns no static. Users can control the volume of the speakers, the treble output, the bass output, and the gain on the sub. There are a few things you need to consider before you buy this set. First, do you have room to fit the system? That was no problem for me, but one has to consider that the sub itself is 16" (w) x 16" (l) x 6" (h.) The bass is pretty powerful. It will move things off your desk if that is where you are placing it. I had a computer fall during a Q3A Death Match (never a good thing.) I am comparing the sound system with an Altek ACS33 system.

Test System Specs:

CPU AMD K6-2 500Mhz
RAM 256MB PC100 SDRAM
Sound Card Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live X-Gamer!
Video Card Voodoo 3 3000 (AGP)

I used the same system for both speaker sets, so there should be no problems there.  I tested the speakers using CD audio, Quake 3A, and finally "Mr. Roboto" by Styx (mp3 format 128kbps 44kHz.)  I feel like these three tests would show the true performance of the speakers.
