1GB & 2GB ATP Secure Digital SD Memory Card

Introduction:

In today's digital age we are surrounded by portable devices such as cell phones, digital cameras, MP3 players, DVD players, GPS units, and PDAs. Many of these devices utilize flash memory as a storage medium for our pictures, music, documents, or anything else that a person needs on-the-go. While there are several different flash memory formats available on the market today, SD (Secure Digital) cards are quickly gaining widespread adoption as the preferred medium because of their small size and low power consumption.

Today we will be taking a look at ATP's 1GB and 2GB SD cards. Both cards are rated up to 60x (10MB/s), can handle extreme temperatures (-40C to 85C), and the most impressive feature is they are completely weatherproof!

For those people not familiar with ATP, here is a little quote about the company taken from their website:

To meet the high demands of flash memory market, ATP now offers a complete line of flash memory products, satisfying current products and next-generation products. ATP’s flash product line includes: CompactFlash, SD, miniSD, MMC, and RS-MMC.
