Mini-Kart Performance:

Running SiSoft Sandra 2007's Removable Storage benchmark yielded some interesting results. Random Access Time was reported to be 59ms. Running HD Tach's read performance yielded the same random access time as Sandra, and similar read results (14MB/s - 10MB/s).

64MB Files Test	Read: 13,107 kB/sec, 87x Write: 5,461 kB/sec, 36x

For most people, a typical Word document is at least 32k, PDF files can range from 512k to several Megabytes, and music / video files from several Megabytes to tens or hundreds of Megabytes. So the average person should see about 12MB/s Read & 4-5MB/s Write throughput. Compare that to the OCZ Rally (Dual Channel) with a rated top speed of 25MB/s read & 17MB/s write.
