Benchmarks

Sysmark 2002
SiSoft Sandra MAX3
SPEC Viewperf 7.0
3DMarks 2001SE
Quake 3 Arena (Q3 Bench)
Unreal Tournament 2003

All tests were run using a retail 3.2C processor, still a high-end processor that is about average for a PC enthusiast. All of the motherboards used Kingston HyperX PC3500 memory in a dual channel configuration with 2-2-2-6 timings. Onboard sound was disabled on all of the machines as well as IDE or SATA RAID (because we do not use these features). To keep consistency in the benchmarks, all of the tests were run in the same exact order and the system rebooted between benchmarks.

The SB75G2 actual FSB speed is .5MHz over stock (200MHz), which isn't that big of a deal. We have seen some motherboards where the default FSB can vary by as much as 3 or 4 MHz, giving them an edge (or hampering) performance when comparing benchmarks.
