Installation:

The first thing that had to be done was to remove the stock heat sink on the PNY GeForce 4 TI4600. The heat sink is easy to remove. First, you have to pull the pins out of the pins that go into the graphics card. Some people are not quite sure on how to remove the stock heat sink so a picture has been provided since it is much easier to explain rather than using words. After removing the heat sink, the chip had to be cleaned off. Goof Off was used since it is very good at cleaning things like the left over thermal adhesive. Fingernail polish remover and rubbing alcohol work as well.

After the stock heat sink was removed, Artic Silver 3 was applied to the core of the video card. A thicker layer was used due to fact that the GPU is not perfectly flat. It is more concave. So using more Arctic Silver should help to ensure better contact. Then the Thermaltake cooler was placed onto the GPU. To secure the cooler in place there are push pins that use the mounting wholes on the video card. Just push the pins in and it was done. This part of the installation would have to be considered the worst part, in truth it was very easy to install, and there were no problems at all throughout the whole process.
